Mindful Eating

Functional nutrition incorporates restoring our health through food and supplements, but sometimes we need to work on rebuilding our relationship with food first.

In this fast-paced world, we live in food often takes a back burner to time and distraction. We eat while watching TV or while we are in a hurry and don’t get to pause and actually enjoy the food. Whether you’re eating a taco, brownie, or a carrot, you deserve to sit down and enjoy it!

It’s essential to be in the present while eating, not thinking about the past or the future. This means that the next time you get ready for a meal or a snack, that big pile of laundry taunting you in your bedroom, the work email that pops up on your computer or checking out the social media on your smartphone is just going to have to wait – your too busy eating!
